Role Information:
My role in this project was as Lead Software Engineer. My responsibilities in this project was to manage a small team of developers and designers, deal directly with the client and program the software. The most challenging part of the project was the short period of time we had to design and develop the product. Our client stipulated this solution for a daily show had to be ready three months from the beginning of the development.
The main tasks involved were: the creation of a library that interpreted the signals that originated from the multi-touch device to transform into panels and components; the wrapper with the original 3DReplay; the creation of specific functionality of the touch version such as multi-scene selection, video and camera manipulation, paint, and insertion of markers.
This project development occurred between March/2011 to June/2011. After that period we provided software maintenance until the end of 2011.
The main technologies involved were: C++, Lua, OpenGL, Iup and the Utouch display.
